Outboard Motor Tapered Roller Bearings
MARATO supplies tapered roller bearings for selected outboard motor lower-unit gearboxes, drive shafts and transmission assemblies. Their cone-shaped rolling elements and angled raceways allow them to support combined radial and axial loads.
A typical tapered roller bearing consists of a cone assembly containing the inner ring, tapered rollers and cage, together with a separate outer cup. The cone and cup must be used as a correctly matched set unless the bearing specification states otherwise.
